Of course decent people aren't going to tune into the Oscars to watch gay propaganda. Send a message to Hollyweird and tune out.

When I was young we never missed the Oscars. I stopped back when they started to get deviant leftist.

Most people tune in for one thing - to see the the garments. However, I found the FR live thread last year and it was so much more fun.

Freepers are great at posting pics and they are far funnier than Joan and Melissa.

Moral Absolutes & Homosexual Agenda Ping.

DISCUSSION ABOUT: ABC is worried that nobody will watch the Oscars due to the pro-homosexual theme

I know I will never watch the Oscars again (not that I have in years anyway).

The guys who watch the Oscars should do it at a local bar. Just slide right up, and push up a stool.

ABC is part of Disney, they are a MAJOR player in Hollywierd. The leftists out there made a decision a long time ago to promote agendas that are completely at odds with the values of regular Americans. Now they worry that these decisions will result in lower revenues for them.

If Hollywood actually wants to return to the "good old days" and start making a lot of money, then maybe they should start making movies that they know will be blockbusters. "Red Dawn", the "Rambo" movies and other similar movies may have been "predicable" and they weren't "artistically cutting edge" or whatever Hollywierd is trying for these days, but they made piles of money. The reason they made money was because when people went to the theater to see them, they knew they would enjoy the movie, they knew the good guys would destroy the bad guys and they knew that their values wouldn't be offended.

Oscars should be renamed to Brokeback Ratings.

What is ABC?

I thought an Oscar was a fish or some kind of SoCal sushi.

There must be nervous sheep on Butcrack Mountain.

I can say for sure I will boycott the Oscars. With these films and Jon Stewart as MC you can bet it will be Bush bashing festival. Hollywood is out in left field big time. None of the films nominated did especially well at the box office. Theater attendance is down big time. I wonder why? Perhaps the public has nothing in common with the agenda driven hollwood fools.

ABC should be required to give parental warnings before the start of the show and upon the return from each commercial break. Homosexual content is NOT a subject for children.

In fact where is the Family Council and other family groups? They should be demanding the oscars be encoded with a "MA" for sexual content so parents can be assured it will be V-Chip blocked.

I guarantee no straight man will be around the water cooler discussing the oscars after it airs.

IOW ABC is screwed. But then as a Disney company they probably enjoyed it.

With no big-budget films like "Titanic," "Gladiator" or "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" in this season's crop of nominees,

Why are they mentioning big budget movies from years past?
This paragraph should say with none of the big budget top grossing movies of 2005, like "Star Wars III," "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," "Chronicles of Narnia," "War of the Worlds," and "King Kong" in this season's crop of nominees,

I haven't watched any of that garbage since the 1996 election when I found out they were all lying to us . Only a redskins game if it happens to be on those channels .

LOL, count me in. On the tune out, that is.

But I do like to watch the scathing commentary on what the 'stars' are wearing. ;-)

Brokeback or no Brokeback, I wouldn't watch the Oscars. The Hollywood crowd gets too much attention as it is, and I will not support their liberal agenda by tuning in. As a matter of fact, if I had to choose between watching the Oscars and cleaning a room full of litter boxes, I'd choose the litter patrol.
