An instant poll taken by CNN/USA Today/Gallup gave President Bush a 75% positive rating. CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer said more than 400 adults who watched the State of the Union address were surveyed in the poll.
When asked to rate the presidents speech, the poll broke down like this:
48% gave Bush a very positive rating 27% gave Bush a somewhat positive rating 23% gave Bush a negative rating
Although those numbers may not look remarkable on first glance, thats actually a 75% positive rating for Bush when the top two categories are combined.
His approval rating in the most recent CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll was 43%.
He always scores BIG.
Rasmussen had his approval rating at 50 yesterday. I knew he'd get a bounce from the SotU. w00t!
Of course, it's only among adults who watched the address, and that group probably has Reps over-represented. Still, good news.
He shoots. He scores. Game over.
Gave the Democrats all the rope they needed to hang themselves.
Looks like a flawed, unbalanced poll. While an option of "somewhat favorable" was offered, "somewhat unfavorable" was not.
Perhaps it balances out the over-sampled-Democrats polls.
And then Woof Blisters had to add that it was no surprise because only Bush supporters were watching the speech!!!
Home run!
Right.
Liberals had their response prepared before the speech even began. What was said has little or nothing to do with how they feel about it, so watching it is not necessary.
And so the MSM shall begin again their agenda of fixing those numbers....
Ridiculous. He said mostly the same old things.
400 adults disagree.
Yes, but, but, remember the good ole days when we had a serial rapist as C.I.C. Bush will never measure up to that one, thankfully.
The next couple of Rasmussen reports should give us a better indication. The President was at 50% with Ras as of yesterday.
He'll pick up at least a point or three.
The NSA thing has backfired in the 10pt range against the 'rats. If they had a neural knot amongst them they'd drop it like dirty underpants.
With their wacky base and lack of adult leadership they're becoming little more than a unpleasant impediment to more rapid success.President Bush has proven time and time again that he can lead the country in spite of them.
I blame the Jews. Stop the madness.
