Cindy Sheehan sure is living well off her son's death. What a vampire.

I think it is remarkable that an elected democrat invited a woman who has been stalking the president for 6 months into the house chamber.
To: Aussie Dasher
The moonbat Sheehan could've waited until the speech started to unveil the T-shirt for the TV cameras when it panned her way.
Would've been great TV to see her get the boot.

Someone should clue in Carl Limbacher (I think he does post here, but I do not know what his screen name is.) Cindy should NEVER be referred to as a Gold Star mother. That organization does not recognize her and despises her politicizing antics. Cindy *founded* the Gold Star Families for Peace organization, which is a far cry from the American Gold Star organization founded in 1928.

IMHO, the capitol police played right into her hands. She got arrested and the publicity she wanted, and what will the spin be? That she was arrested for wearing the wrong t-shirt. It would have been better to let her wear her t-shirt and ignore her.

I can't find the law that states you can't protest inside the Senate or Capital grounds. Anybody?

Just be grateful she didn't have a vest of explosives strapped to her body.

As if she WASN'T going to try a stunt like this...I, for one, am stunned that Sheehan went out of her way to get herself arrested
... without a camera in sight.
To: Aussie Dasher
Hmmmm?? I was hoping they were arresting her for treason.

To paraphrase a popular saying, "There's never a [Rachel Corrie] bulldozer around when you need one".
I predict a "Death by Caterpillar" soon. Walk the walk Cindy. You NEED to be a martyr to the cause. Elevate yourself to Peace Moonbat Sainthood.
To: Aussie Dasher
If only she'd fired a few rounds near the Capital. Then we wouldn't have to deal with her crap anymore.

It could have been a lot worse: she could have stood up in a moment of silence and screamed insanities or thrown herself off the balcony into a senator mosh pit or would have been dragged from the room yelling RAPE or DIE YOU FASCIST PIG!!! Then it would have been a total mockery and Bush would have to have something short of a brilliant come back... perhaps saying, "We tolerate mistakes like Cindy because we're compassionate" or "Who let that dog in!" or "Didn't Billy Jack tell you to stop snorting glue..."

A message t-shirt is enough to get a kid sent home from public school and cindy's complaining about getting kicked out of the SOTU speech?
