There are 1375 Parties nationwide, and WE are the biggest and the best! Tonight, President Bush, in his STATE of the UNION speech, will discuss America's leadership in the world and share his vision to lead America forward. To seize opportunities here at home, the President will outline the policies needed for the American people to continue to compete in the global economy.
Earlier today, the President sat with Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito in the Roosevelt Room at the White House, and watched the Senate confirmation vote as they approved his nomination 58-42, fulfilling one of President Bush's most significant campaign pledges by placing on the Supreme Court another justice who will interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended, and not legislate from the bench. THANK you, President Bush! (Justice Alito was sworn in at 12:07 this afternoon as the 110th Supreme Court Justice)
President Bush also released a statement regarding the death of widow of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr, Coretta Scott King and met with TV reporters in the White House to give them a glimpse of his State of the Union, emphasizing his optimism for the future of America. He also continued to work on this speech for tonight.
The economy is strong, we are winning our War on Terror and it is a GOOD DAY in America, and a GREAT time to be a Bush-bot!
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose............ let's PARTY!!!!!!!!!
1000
It will be hard not to appoint a minority or a woman if President Bush gets another chance to nominate.
But what will we do if none of the quality picks are willing to go through the gauntlet and endure the torture of their family?
ACK!--beat me at my own game :)
So there is. And he just might realize if he doesn't retire now, he may not get another chance.
Can I get a prize?? LOL!
Thanks for the info. 20 years is a long time to wait!

Oh, maybe I was just thinking he wanted the line item veto too. It is a big problem and I'm sure if he had it, he woulda used it several times by now.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot.....No, wait! Wrong holiday. But great party. Thanks, Ohio.
Time for bed.
Did you see Mrs. Alito on Fox just now, STARWISE??
Especially after what happened to Mrs. Alito. But I hope they'll recognize that we need them and be willing to do it anyway.
At Alito's hearing this morning, before the actual vote, Harry Reid began to rant about why hasn't the President picked a Hispanic. I though, whoa, they are really reaching...trying to stir up any trouble or trying to make points anyway possible. Kennedy was hysterical. they looked rediculous.
But you folks west of here can keep on partying.
Just don't mess up the place, OK???
Here ya go--just add three zeros to this :)
And you also get a complimentary bottle of NyQuil!
Lol! You made your goal though. Congrats!
That would be the best gift to President Bush. Maybe it will be Justice Steven's birthday gift to W this summer.
LOVE those fireworks!
W never backs away from biting into the tough problems our country needs to solve.
But he needs help in Congress. We have to get involved in the 2006 elections and send him as many Republicans as we can to carry the votes that will be held in the House and Senate.
