Well, I was excited to see President Bush tonight. Now with ole lady sheehan there I CAN'T WAIT. She has to remember there will be Secret Service there and they will NOT think she is joking.
What network will you be watching?
Those guys do not look at all interested in taking a flyer.
She's a guest of a Dem for tonight's State of the Union.
It is disgusting to watch these people on TV (happen to be watching CNN pre-coverage). They simply talk to hear themselves....they wish their words were true so badly they can't help but to spin and lie with each sentence. And then they all believe it.
But my bigger problem is the WH/GOP PR teams. They are worthless.
I watched Dan Bartlett on CNN this morning and he was absolutely a joke! The CNN women starts off with 3 or 4 false premises regarding how it has been a terrible year for GWB, a terrible year for America, a terrible year for Iraq and the GWOT (and both are getting worse)
She goes on to say the last few weeks things only "continue" to get worse with the new Zawahiri tape, the Jill Carrol tape, Woodruff being injured.....
Dan Bartlett's response was pathetic! He doesn't set one premise straight by saying....NO!, Your premise is wrong...in fact is has not been a terrible year....the reality is we are continually making progress in Iaq, two elections took place....with more free Iraqi's voting in each of these, terrorists continue to be hunted down and killed 24/7, Zawahiri is still reduced to putting out silly video's, within America this President has appointed and had confirmed TWO judges to the SCOTUS, over 2 million new jobs were created in the last year lone, our nations growth (GDP) continues to remain at a historically high rate of increase, etc, etc, etc.
NO! Mr. Bartlett acted as if "yeah, things are sure really bad...but we are still positive....we are optimistic".
Absolutely pathetic how this WH responds.
If you want the continuous 24/7 negative spin to stop..(or to be at least reduced)...The WH PR people need to respond back to those on TV (the MSM talking heads) and call out their false premises right there on live TV! Make them look like fools. Make them look like the bias pukes they are.

While certainly not ideal - President Bush is MUCH better than the alternatives we had to choose from.... Kerry? Dean? Gore? This place would be a Banana Republic if any of those idiots were in charge.

CSPAN 2 has the Moonbats' Monday whine-fest on right now. This is the one that Rush Limbaugh had so much fun with on his show today.
I hope he looks Cindy Sheehan right in the eye with a cold disapproving glare when he talks about high oil prices and how they enable unstable, evil dictators - and their witting dupes on the Sandalista left.
State of the Union speech according to some of us, by invitation from a Dem House Member, but according to others she will be at an anti Bush rally outside during the speech. I don't know which is correct.
