Man, you've nailed this one! I thought the same thing, with the Muslims as the Morlocks.

There are two kinds of fascists: fascists, and anti-fascists.

This guy apparently knows what he is talking about but I couldn't read too much. My head kept hitting the keyboard and waking me up.

[to succeed they would need to suppress Islam and they don't have the balls to take them on. That's where your thesis fall short.]

You're right...to succeed. However, liberals fail to grasp that they are destined to fail. There are many reasons they will fail, but the one you listed is a fine example. But they will still fail. Their arrogance blinds them to the flaws in their world view.

#20. In the So Called Today's Liberal( which I do indeed consider a misomer ), instead of any violence toward them, I like to watch them get really silly and watch them implode as we have watched the last several days and lately its getting real hysterical!!!!:-)

"Your assertions are somewhat correct. The internationalism that you speak of is the new fascism...but the one thing it neglects to deal with is the Islamics. For their one world order to succeed they would need to suppress Islam and they don't have the balls to take them on. That's where your thesis fall short. You need to thing more about how the elitists are going to subdue the Mohammedans"

Who said they would succeed?

"Their most vital interests-those of re election- compel them to flatter the banal instincts of the masses and 'to neglect reality for the sake of outward appearance'. Outward appearance in its most concentrated form is public opinion. It is inconstant, oscillating, temperamental, superficial-in all things the antithesis of truth. But it has the power of the lie, for what opinion does the individual absorb more greedily than the one which makes out that he is the victim of injustice, that he is being exploited? To create this opinion is precisely the business and reason for being of radical politicians in a democracy"

Fascism is an economic system by which you are allowed to own property but the State tells you what you can do with it.

Liberals believe in this wholeheartedly. Some of them don't even believe in the right of property ownership. Their preferred governmental system is not fascism, but communism.

Agreed.

There are three possible scenarios here. Either the free market succeeds, the internationalists succeed, or the islamomaniacs succeed.

In order to defeat your adversary you need to understand the ways of your adversary

There is another take on all this elitist superiority I find fasinating.

"The Intrinsic Evil of Evolutionary Humanism"
by Linda Kimball

In 1920, Winston Churchill spoke of a group of Enlightenment conspirators who had produced a system of morals and philosophy "as malevolent as Christianity was benevolent, which, if not arrested would shatter irretrievably all that Christianity has rendered possible..." {snip}...This malevolent system of warped morals and anti-human philosophy entered into the world during the Enlightenment, where it seems as if another Garden of Eden seduction occurred. It appears as though certain Enlightenment thinkers--Darwin, Marx, Hegel, Saint-Simon and Rousseau among others, ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and each man received certain ideas which, when combined with the others, produced a malignancy filled system of philosophy comparable to a grimoire of goetia (black magic) which, like Sauron's One Ring, holds out for the bearer, a seductive illusion of power, wealth, and glory...{snip}...In its' guise as Communism, it unleashed a sadistic anti-human holocaust of planetary dimensions. From Hitler's ovens to the killing fields of Lenin, Stalin, Mao Zedung, Pol Pot, Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong-Il, and Fidel Castro there runs interconnecting rivers of human blood. One hundred million lives were consumed in the demonic quest for the creation of a New Man.

Even as rivers of blood still flowed from the earthly Hells created by Communists, communism itself began to shape-shift into something innocuous seeming in order that it could slither into and infect Christendom and the very fortress of Christianity, the United States. It disguised itself as progressivism, liberalism, secular humanism, and then later as environmentalism, feminism and a plethora of other social justice causes.

Soon, subversive stealth campaigns were launched...

There you are!
Liberals may have been `elites" but are no longer if actually having/using power is a prerequisite to being deemed an elite.
http://www.socialstudieshelp.com/APGOV_Power_Elite.htm
There was a time not too long ago when they flexed their muscles by threatening us with limiting our civil rights, e.g. our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms, but now that issue is a political "third rail".
I'd need a better definition of "fascism" before saying they were ever fascists. They thought like fascists.
The important thing is, like Nazis, they are, or are close to being, history.

That is not actually another take but a more difinitave pointand ties in. That is what is at the very root of fascism and is the "seed" of it.

If you read the rants in the deep ecology movement, you'll find these eco-fascists are the ultimate Nazi racists - they hate the entire human race.

Hitler clearly outlined that the primary tenet of fascism is government control of private property for the good of and the goals of the state.

In the book "Vampire Economy," businesses in Nazi Germany complained bitterly of being overrun by state bureaucrats who would harass them and make arbitrary demands that could change day to day. Businesses that didn't comply to Nazi bureaucratic demands could be heavily fined, closed or the owners thrown in prison.

So are liberals fascists? You betcha. Look at our bureaucracy in the EPA, ESA, Army Corps of Engineers. These bureaucracies are filled with liberal, left wing fascists.
