IN the OpEdNews.com/Zogby people's poll I just ran in Pennsylvania, about 29% of the respondents were liberals or progressives. With 51 percent of the respondents being democrats, that means that 58% of the democrats are liberal or Progressive. We ARE the majority. >>>
51% x 29% = oh, I dunno... 14.79%.
NOT a majority.

Notice that the dims always count the independent as a dim? Not that I can argue with it, but its telling.

Don't you just love the thought of Diane Finestein having to debate Cindy al-Sheehadi in a primary battle?
How sweet it is!

Well, let's see here, Mr Kall - you say Dems in blue states who voted for cloture should be thrown out but Dems in red states get a pass.
Why? If this is SUCH a big deal wouldn't you need their votes, too?
Or have you just admitted you have no principals except for obtaining and keeping power over the rest of us?
You remember us, right? The MAJORITY.
Thanks for the confirmation; you can go hang yourself, now.

I do starting worrying when I see words like this "we know what to do with traitors." How long before the left in America gets violent and are we "conversatives" ready for it?

Well, 29% of 51% is equal to 57%, which is close enough for an idiot Democrat. But he's assuming that all 29% who described themselves as "liberal" or "progressive" also described themselves as "Democrats" (as opposed to "independents" or even "Republicans"; think Arlen Specter). If only 4% of those polled described themselves as "liberal" or "progressive" but not as "Democrat," then less than half of Pennsylvania's Democrats describe themselves as "liberal" or "progressive."
Besides, does this moron really think that *everyone* who describes himself as "liberal" or "progressive" is a Daily Kos-type troglodite? Someone who believes in raising the minimum wage and cleaning up government may describe himself as "liberal" or "progressive," yet he may be pro-life and pro-gun and, more to the point, he may not be a whack job like those who insisted upon denying a qualified Supreme Court nominee an up-or-down vote.
And this whole thing is based on the results of a Zogby poll? Wow.
"Ad Bob Fertik, of Democrats.com, said, "There was no reason for this betrayal. We only needed 40 of the 45 Democrats to sustain a filibuster.""
I just wish that the Democrats had convinced 40 members to vote against cloture, just to see those DUmmies and Kossites celebrate, only to realize that it takes 60 votes for cloture, and 100-40=60, so they actually needed 41 votes for cloture. Dumbasses.
In truth, what I would have preferred is if 15 Republican Senators stayed in their offices when the cloture vote began, to see if the Democrats would vote for cloture when they might be the 60th vote. If at the end it appeared that the GOP was 3 votes shy of cloture, 3 Republican Senators would waltz in and cast votes for cloture to put it at 60-25-15. That would *really* give ammunition to the RAT crazies, since they would be campaigning against Lieberman, Bill Nelson, etc. saying "had he voted against cloture on Alito the motion would have failed and Alito would have been filibustered."

"I thought about becoming one but I just don't have the stomach to even pretend to be a democrat." I know what you mean. I can't even bring myself to get on any of their mailing lists to keep an eye on what's going on. I could never pretend to be a Democrat (capital D).

Ever notice how bitter, angry, and vile these leftists are? I have never ever heard or known a lefty that was ever in a good mood. Always ticked off about something, and always using curse words to try and make their points. I guess if you only have half a brain you have to use curse words because you don't know any other ones.

Yes. What is badly needed in this country is a breakaway Progressive Party that will get a solid 20% of the vote, and successfully scare 20% of the remaining dims into voting Republican.
Republicans 60%
Progressives 20%
Democrats 20%
I can live with that. The dims and commies will spend all of their time blaming and triangulating each other, while the Republicans move to the right.
