I know what you mean. I can't even bring myself to get on any of their mailing lists to keep an eye on what's going on. I could never pretend to be a Democrat (capital D).
Same here ... I'm a lousy lier. Oh sure, I'll construct tall-tales occasionally for humor's sake, but they'll be filled with so much deliberate absurdity and contradictions that the reader/listener would eventually catch on that it was a tall-tale, which is the desired result (as irreverent humor:) ......
Then again ... most liberal Dems may never 'catch on', so perhaps I might make a good 'pretend' Democrat .... /chuckle
