CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR'S Jill Carroll appeared in a new video aired on Al-Jazeera, weeping and appealing for the release of women Iraqi prisoners... Developing...
The woman was dead the second she was kidnapped.
Does this mean al Jazeera's playing the audio this time?
they have her decked out in muslim garb while she wails and begs for her life....she has clearly lost it, and is on the point of mental collapse. (cant say i blame her)Someone is off camera causing her great terror. I think she knows they will behead her soon.
Islam Isevil
since the women apparently were released over the weekend, this tape is bogus. agree that the poor woman is most likely dead.
Can you hear the audio on the videotape?
Are we terrorized yet?
I checked the video on our Al-Jazeera but its a mans voice in Arabic over the footage. She is freaking out..
(our college cable has Al-J and several Muslim friendly channels, but I cant understand a damn word they say.
Where does Al Jazeera get these tapes? Don't tell me they don't have some contacts with the Islamokillers. We SHOULD bomb Al Jazeera, after clearing the building.
Some were released, I think, not all, and I believe they're demanding all.
an edited for America version of the video is now on PMSNBC

Kidnapped U.S. journalist appeals for release of Iraqi women
prisoners in new video: Al-Jazeera
CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- Al-Jazeera aired a new videotape Monday of
kidnapped U.S. journalist Jill Carroll, showing her wearing a veil
and weeping as she purportedly appealed for the release of women
Iraqi prisoners.
The video is dated Saturday, two days after the U.S. military
released five Iraqi women detainees but said it had nothing to do
with the kidnappers' demands to do so.
The video had no sound, but the Al-Jazeera newscaster said
Carroll appealed to the U.S. military and the Iraqi Interior
Ministry to release all women in their prisons and that this
"would help in winning her release."
The military had said before the release that it was holding
nine Iraqi women, and it was not known when the others might be let
go.
I won't print what I'm thinking about al Jazeera.
Can you hear her voice on the tape at all?
no just they same "dirka dirka" nonsense from some guy. They are showing stills on CNN
Jill Carroll wore Muslim garb anyway, and had done so for a number of years. She was an Islamophile who had lived in Jordan and Iraq for years, and may actually have converted to Islam - I'm not sure on the latter, though.
I would like to think I would hold it together in similar circumstances, but I'm not sure I would. Withhold some food and sleep and dabble in psychological torture, I might well be there with her. I feel for the poor woman.
< She is freaking out.. >
I'm betting she thinks they are terrorists now.
