Don't think we look to Rush for perfection, just articulation of what we believe. Don't get hung up on the messenger. What's your problem with his message?I completely agree. It's the message, not the messenger.

So you are one to throw him to the wolves in spite of his being one of the true conservatives in the nation? He never said he was the epitome of morality and virtue so why ascribe those statements to something he said? He admitted his mistakes and went on with his conservatism. Liberals wallow in their mistakes and make excuses for them or try to make them "legal."

This is right on and the biggest sticking point for liberals... And serves to alienate the atheists who agree with every other point (discounting the unnecessary God reference in #8).

I think the fact that people continue to look to a thrice-divorced, arrogant drug addict as the "epitome of morality and virtue" speaks volumes about so-called "conservatism" today. Anyone who looks to Rush for morality and virtue has serious problems. However, he's a good guidepost for conservative thinking in general.

This site will alway have it's "nitpickers","spellcheckers",and other contrarians,and that's as it should be.We are FReepers and shouldn't be in lockstep.That would make us as irrelevent as DUers.
