Friday afternoon I received one of those forwarded emails from a buddy of mine. The subject: asking people to sign on to John Kerrys petition to filibuster Sam Alito.
The email was started by a KaufNYC@aol.com, with the message forward away, my liberal friends. One of those who received the message was a guy named David Kaufman, a Vice President of Affiliate Relations for ABC Radio. He forwarded on the email with his own message: Help stop the craziness!
Oh yeah, one more thing. He forwarded the message from his abc.com email account. I contacted Mr. Kaufman by email and asked him if he would like to comment. I received a reply this morning telling me no.
Now, this raises an interesting conversation. Sean Hannity, employed by ABC Radio, could certainly say, while on the job, You should not support this filibuster. Mark Levin, while on the job, could say the same thing. Should Dave Kaufman be able to say the opposite while hes on the job?
Does ABC Corporate support the Alio Fillibuster? If not, why is this guy using work email to garner suport for it?
Ho-hum. Antique media suits are liberal Democrats. News at 10.
Don't watch ABC.
Help stop the craziness!
That`s Orwellian double-speak. Here,alow me to translate:
" Help stop adherence to the US Constitution."
Or as Ted (manslaughterer) Kennedy said on the floor of
the Senate,to paraphrase,' We must continue to be
progressive(marxist).Alito is not a progressive(marxist)
and we must stop him.'
This will be good news for DU and Daily Kos, who think the news media is part of a right-wing Rovian attack machine.
No, if they aren't foaming at the mouth in their support of the Dummie talking points they must be the dreaded Republican Stooges.
Personally, I'd rather see Sen. Frist make the Dims stay up night and day, holding up all legitimate country business, while talking about the Concerned Alumni of Princeton and ten-year olds being strip-searched. The Republicans can bat those two charges away with the facts. Then only the truth will remain. The Democrats will not vote for anyone who doesn't swear allegiance to sticking forks in babies' heads.
One thing never mentioned by the antique media: when the President's poll numbers were at their nadir, they were still nine points higher than the Democrats in Congress. Efforts like these will ensure that continues.
Find out who his supervisor is. Then send it to him and to the president of AOL.
It depends on what the corporate policy is for ABC employees politiking from their office computers. It is probably not allowable.
