...they need to count the cash the AFL-CIO, NEA, ACLU, Teamsters, CWA, and the NY Times have in the bank also. That's the true picture of the DNC cash position.
True that. I guess it's still not time to pop a cork in victory celebration.

Nah, a special prosecutor. With GW having had the Republican nomination wrapped up, I voted in the Dem primary in '04 just so I could vote for Dean. I like to think I helped a little in having him become the DNC Chairman.

$5.5 million should gain them one deputy alderman seat in Wilmington VT.

Ever hear the old joke about the preacher who took off with the church funds. When they caught him one member asked a deacon if they retrieved the money. The deacon replied, "No." Then the member asked how the pastor had spent the money, "Well," replied the deacon, "He spent 3/4's of it on wine and women, and he wasted the other 1/4."

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) made his concerns known about Dean and the Dim's campaign money shortfall?
Maybe Harry and his family can take a trip offshore and make a few withdrawals from those friendly banking havens, and give it to the party.
Harry could also contribute the $68,941 windfall he got from corrupt uber-lobbyist Jack Abramoff .............{{{{{{{cackle}}}}}}.

But the Democrats don't NEED campaign financing, because they will get a billion dollars worth of free publicity from their pimp reporter friends in the media.
Also, I'm sure Soros can come up with another $50 million before next November.

If I were a Dem donor, I'd be pretty po'ed.
Then again, if I'm a Dem donor I'd have to like pouring money down a 'Rat hole...
Never mind.
