Even George Soros has to be pretty fed
up with handing over money to the DNC
at this point!

Careful what you wish for: we LIKE having Howard "The Scream" Dean as the face of the Dimocratic Party!

after new fundraising numbers showed he has spent nearly all the committee’s cash and has little left to support their efforts to gain seats this cycle

In other words, the fundraisers aren't bringing in the big bucks anymore, and somehow Dynamic Dean's to blame for spending what little they do bring in?

If I were them I would demand an independent counsel and congressional hearings! Isn't that what Demorats always do?

Ah, the DNC is too right-wing for Soros to give any money to, anyway. I'm hoping Soros' money will go to rabid left-wingers for the primaries.

Karl Rove is absolutely brilliant! First, he gets Clinton to damage the Party greviously, and then he finds Howard Dean to finish it off.

This says to me that the Democrat base is NOT supporting the far left leadership, they have lost the majority of the centrist Democrats. Tell me that this was not predictable!

I love ya Howie! Love ya!

Remember a few months ago, actually a few weeks ago, the media and the dems all decided that they were going to win big in 2006 and the had the presidency all sewn up. They even started started impeachment proceedings.
We now have Kerry, calling in from the Alps and the Murderer LEADING the party in a non-filibuster, filibuster.
Howard Dean moaning that the party leaders in the senate and house ignore him, while he bleeds the party dry of money for losing causes. Now we have Dingy Harry embroiled in a inter-party spat with the mad Dr over his Abramhoff dealings and the fringe groups that control the purse strings threatening to take their money and start a third party because the fil-of-bluster failed.

The once proud party of Truman, FDR and the real Kennedy is going down faster than Monica on Bill.

How quickly things change.

(ps- I understand that things can change for the good guys too, I'm just reveling in the moment)

"Dems were making the point today that
most of the money that once went to
the DNC now goes to the 527's."

Yep...Soros, Hanoi Jane, Babs and Peter Lewis can fund the Dems $30 Million with four checks. I don't think McCain ever closed this loophole.

Vermont: Lovely scenery. Great maple syrup. Burlington (nice lakeside town, if you don't mind the moonbats). And the state that gave us (well, NYC born) the man who is REALLY helping us, Howlin' Howie!

True story: The Vermont Expos minor league baseball team changed their name to the Lake Monsters after a Name The Team contest. Among the rejected entries, according to the team's website:

"...the Howlin’ Howards for former Vermont Governor and National Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean and his (in)famous Iowa speech"

Don't you dare belittle Al Gore's invention!

Didn't this exact same thing happen during Dean's POTUS run?

67 would be better, just in case *knock on wood* a Dem picks up the Presidency any time soon.

Wait, what the hell did I just say? "67 would be better" than 60?
