This says to me that the Democrat base is NOT supporting the far left leadership, they have lost the majority of the centrist Democrats. Tell me that this was not predictable!

Remember a few months ago, actually a few weeks ago, the media and the dems all decided that they were going to win big in 2006 and the had the presidency all sewn up. They even started started impeachment proceedings.
We now have Kerry, calling in from the Alps and the Murderer LEADING the party in a non-filibuster, filibuster.
Howard Dean moaning that the party leaders in the senate and house ignore him, while he bleeds the party dry of money for losing causes. Now we have Dingy Harry embroiled in a inter-party spat with the mad Dr over his Abramhoff dealings and the fringe groups that control the purse strings threatening to take their money and start a third party because the fil-of-bluster failed.
The once proud party of Truman, FDR and the real Kennedy is going down faster than Monica on Bill.
How quickly things change.
(ps- I understand that things can change for the good guys too, I'm just reveling in the moment)
