The dims are absolutely making fools of themselves.This is a serious question. Where are the grownups in the dem party? Where have they gone? Lieberman does not meet the test. Alito is clearly qualified, yet he will vote no.

I'm actually starting to wonder what's going to happen to the Republicans, as the Democrats cease to be a viable opposition party. Things could get much more interesting.

Just as Byrd and the Dakotans are voting for Alito because they represent red states, Liberman is voting against Alito because he represents a VERY blue state.
That's my theory anyway.
