Is Snowe the only other Repub senator to not announce her intentions? I hope she goes along with her Maine colleague Sen Collins and votes in favor. In any case it sounds like the pro filibuster creeps will fall short, but it could be close.
I really doubt they'd try that....yet. Frist (and a number of other Republican senators) really don't like the idea of changing the rules and will avoid it unless they feel there's no other choice left. I would be willing to bet that they'd let the debate go on for another day or so before pulling the trigger. It won't likely come to that anyway - I count over 60 votes to invoke cloture already (unless some Dems are lying).
