Lincoln Chaffee (R-RI) - Against Filibuster - AGAINST the nominee.
Chafee has long signaled his worry that a filibuster against Alito would gridlock the Senate. Hourahan reaffirmed Thursday that the senator would join fellow Republicans in voting to shut off debate.

No he is trying to have his cake and eat it too. Will vote against Alito but voted FOR cloture. His little Press conference today makes it clear he is NOT on our side. Despite what all the Closet Democrat Freepers will tell you, Chaffe should be dumped by the party to "encourage" the other RINOS to remember who brought them to the dance.
