I get so tired of their pat answer when they've lost: Well, our side wasn't able to get its case out! Well, we've just pulled out the violin case and the fat lady is singing soon!
Yeah, it's only too bad that, with our current Senate contingent, that violin case doesn't contain a political Tommy gun. Of course, given the current Democrat Senate contingent, it doesn't have to. We can just sit idly bemused as they bloviate their fool heads off in a "Groundhog Day" of political Russian roulette. Dark comedy, to be sure, but comedy nonetheless. My sides ache.
So, let's all hoist our glasses in a hearty toast for the "toasted" Dems. And I DO mean "toasted" in every conceivable sense of the word.
