The pretend filibuster was just a "money raising" tactic. The truth is: The Dems don't want the precedence and will use Alito as "proof" that they acted in good faith in 2006.
Any change in Roe will merely be touted as "see, we knew it". The Republicans did it.
They could care less about Alito. They want the Whitehouse and Congress.

They could care less about Alito. They want the Whitehouse and Congress. I can't agree with that, they are desperate to hold onto control of the left leaning SCOTUS - this is where they have done all their recent damage to this country. They cannot win at the ballot box and I would hope they recognize that or their party really are idiots.
