That's why we need to get many knowledgable people involved in a public discussion about this.

Let's find out, as sure as we can, what the real threats are.

I would agree with you, that having many knowledgable people involved in such a discussion would be enlightening...people could express their wishes, their desires, people could pose questions, get answers, a good serious exchange of ideas on this subject would be healthy...Could such an exchange of ideas take place, in a civil manner, with all points of view being given consideration?...I dont know...but surely its a worthy idea...
