As grieving father in Boston 'execution' case is released after a day of questioning, the discovery of threatening e-mails suggests his wife was the target of a hate campaign
This weekend the family's internet site was still crammed with messages of condolence for Rachel and Lillian, the mother and nine-month-old baby whose bodies were found rolled in a blanket seven days ago. Both had been shot and left in their home near Boston, Massachusetts.
[snip]
Police are increasingly focusing on an 'execution scenario'. Sources have told The Observer that the discovery of the two bodies rolled in a blanket in the bedroom of their five-bedroom home bore none of the frenzied hallmarks that characterise a burglary gone awry or a heated dispute that went too far. Lillian had been killed by a bullet through the torso that also wounded her mother. Rachel had been assassinated at close range in the head with a small-bore handgun.

"Perfect"? Surely they jest. He was a grifter who sold porn on eBay, and perhaps whe was in on the scams too.
I thought Mass. didn't have the death penalty?
Yesterday they said MA doesn't have a death penalty, so they can't use that excuse.
He might have got mixed up with some very shady characters, maybe even owed them money. The Russian mafia comes to mind too.
When a mother and child are shot, every police detective knows the husband is responsible at least half the time. When he runs off to another country under such suspicious circumstances, instead of sticking around to help solve the case, it's 99% certain the dirtbag did it.
The only scenario I can see under which he didn't do it is if it was a retribution killing for the e-bay scams and he doesn't want to go back to be killed himself (?)
Possibly, but that husband is sure acting strangely for one who just lost his wife and baby. WHO could murder a little baby like that? It's not as though that child could have ever id'ed the killer--this looks much more like a man who wanted no part of a wife and child. Sort of like Scott Peterson.
Yesterday, on Fox it was stated that he made plane reservations after they apparently were killed and allegedly never phoned the home.
I guess we'll just have to watch Greta, she had something about it last night tho' I had the sound muted !
