"(76%) favor allowing illegal immigrants in the U.S. to earn citizenship if they learn English, have a job and pay taxes"Huh? I find this very hard to believe.

IMEs Poll shows that half (50%) of Americans favor deporting all illegal immigrants back to their home countries (45% oppose). Three-in-four (76%) favor allowing illegal immigrants in the U.S. to earn citizenship if they learn English, have a job and pay taxes. Cognitive dissonance at work.

Time poll: half of Americans favor deporting all illegal immigrants back to their home countriesI'll bet there are many more than half that think that.

63% of the people and 0% of our government leaders. Interesting.

Immigration is a critical issue and one that every candidate for office must address if he/she has any hope of winning an election. It is "critical" because it will soon determine whether our Western culture-based country will survive or be driven to extinction.
To: Brian Mosely
And the other half think the meaning of "law" depends on what you mean by "is".

"....according to the Pew Hispanic Center."
It's not only countries south of the border providing us with illegals. The Philippines is sending it's fair share of illegals here also. I know first-hand. They, unlike the poor ones from Mexico and points south, have a very sophisticated and well funded network here in the U.S. including crooked Filipino lawyers who forge documents, etc.

Half right. We need to start building the walls NOW and setting the depth charges to disrupt the tunnelling.

And after deporting the illegals, we need to deport the legals who should never have been allowed in (including the towel-heads who despise this country). If congress doesn't want to implement the will of the people, perhaps they should be given the opportunity to leave also.

TIMEs Poll shows that half (50%) of Americans favor deporting all illegal immigrants back to their home countries (45% oppose). The 45% that oppose ARE illegal immigrants (and northeast liberals)

I was looking at the Attorney General web site in my state the other night and looked up sex offenders and child molesters. My state gives the pictures, names and addresses of these people. Gee guess what...about three quarters of them are from Mexico. I looked up the FBI most wanted for my state and guess what...the first seven most wanted are from Mexico. Do you think we might have a problem with these people who just want to come here and work hard.
