I was just thinking about this yesterday. I live about 7 miles from Tijuana. Just what would the US response be to a few mortar rounds being lobbed across the border into San Diego ala Hamas?

Better not hit my place... but then, I'm 12 miles... I think. Do you think there would be much of a response? I mean, they *could* hit North Island, or the SEAL Base from TJ, easily, especially with mortars on the TJ hill. *shudder*

When I first moved here to SD, I lived at 3rd & IB Blvd. Right next to the Sloughs. I could see the alien heads popup and look for Border Patrol at dusk before they would start their run for the beach or the freeway. THIS WENT ON RIGHT NEXT TO A NAVY HELO BASE (Brown Field)!!! And nothing... nothing has been done.



We MUST put a stop to this! I've checked my supplies, but am seriously lacking a firearm right now. *feh*

Just what would the US response be to a few mortar rounds being lobbed across the border into San Diego ala Hamas?

1. The fedgov would order an immediate evacuation with the confiscation of all privately own firearms in the area.(Katrina comes to mind. I know the stolen guns were ordered returned, but they aren't going to let that stop them again.)

2. The Wash D.C. mexican consul would be invited to explain what was going on. He would deny any knowledge.(No Hablo Inglés Senor.)

3. Someone in the administration would say it was the act of militant islamic terrorists and it would be flogged to increase surveillance and stricter controls on law abiding citizens.(Patriot Act Part 3)

4. Coyote business as usual as the southern racetrack remains open for business.
