CARACAS, Venezuela Activists at the World Social Forum plan a demonstration against U-S proposals to extend a wall along the Mexico border and toughen immigration laws.

They say the demonstration against the measures will start in southern Mexico and culminate in El Paso in May.

Activists at the forum in Venezuela accuse the governments of the United States and Mexico of "violating human rights" and not protecting migrants.

A House bill proposes building 700 miles of additional fences along the border while making illegal entry a felony. It would enlist military and local police to help stop undocumented migrants. The bill must still be considered by the U-S Senate.

Those two scumbags only said they were "open to the idea". To me that means theyd think about it and then say no.

Why would I be paying $5 a head in this hi-tech economy?

Plenty of reasons - for the purposes of this hypothetical, assume it is because of the new federal "Lettuce tax" used to fund the deportations and building of the U.S. / Mexico border wall, as well as the subsequent minimum wages paid to pick all that lettuce.

Well then my benefits become quite abstract such as border communities becoming more livable and alot less gangbangers and fewer welfare cases and less crime and much less ethnic/racial agitation from the haters on the Left, I see your point.

I have an idea to pay for the border fence.

Build it with watchtowers equipped with water cannons.

And then charge people for the opportunity to hose down the protestors who come to complain about the fence.

This could be the first time the government has run a profit on an endeavor since the first Gulf War.

Maybe we should put one of these up on the border.

I'd settle for a few rolls of razor wire strung out along the entire border. We can discuss masonry after that.
