The Palestinians made their bed so now they can lay in it. Jimmy Carter the other day said that we should support the Palestinians through the UN even though they are controlled by Hamas Terrorist. If Jimmy Carter had any brains he would realize that he just advocated the US government break the law by money laundering through the UN to a terrorist supported state. The people elected Hamas knowing the consequences for their actions so they are no better than the terrorist and I find it disgusting that a Former US President is trying to circumvent the law to support these people.

A hudna is a strategic truce designed to deceive.

It will lull a superior force enemy into vulnerability, and then allow its destruction at a more strategic time.

Only a malicious, anti-freedom press would prevent this from being commonly known in the West.

So when a Radical Muslim tells you he is for a hudna (peace/truce), it is the most vile interpretation possible.

The hypocrisy is shameless, like the Rats. Recognize our government although we are terrorists who have killed Americans. But we refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist.

Easy enough to resolve - Israel destroys its sworn enemy.

But Liberal Rats from the UN on down are responsible for most of the world's on-going problems.

A long term hudna, a few attacks blamed on renegade terror groups can happen to keep the populace excited, is an excellent idea. If Hamas can stay quiet for 6 months to a year, the West will flock to their cause.

"We are not going to recognize Israel," Zahar said in an interview published in the Sunday Telegraph on Sunday, putting paid to suggestions that Hamas may alter its 1988 charter calling for the destruction of the Jewish state.

But he added: "We can reach out to them with a long-term hudna (truce)."

I posted this on an earlier thread but if is appropriate here.

It's the old Hudna trick that the Jews fall for over and over again.

from 2003 http://www.honestreporting.com/articles/45884734/critiques/Hudna_With_Hamas.asp

Hudna has a distinct meaning to Islamic fundamentalists, well-versed in their history: The prophet Mohammad struck a legendary, ten-year hudna with the Quraysh tribe that controlled Mecca in the seventh century. Over the following two years, Mohammad rearmed and took advantage of a minor Quraysh infraction to break the hudna and launch the full conquest of Mecca, the holiest city in Islam.

When Yassir Arafat infamously invoked Mohammad's hudna in 1994 to describe his own Oslo commitments "on the road to Jerusalem," the implication was clear. As Mideast expert Daniel Pipes explained, Arafat was asserting to his Islamic brethren that he will, "when his circumstances change for the better, take advantage of some technicality to tear up existing accords and launch a military assault on Israel." Indeed, this is precisely what occurred in Sept. 2000 when Arafat & Co. launched a terror assault upon Israeli citizens.

As for Hamas, they have proven time and again their commitment to a tactical hudna — replenishing their strength during the quiet periods, then returning with increased deadliness. As recently documented by The Washington Institute, Hamas agreed to no less than ten ceasefires in the past ten years, and after every single one returned freshly armed for terror. Hundreds of Israeli citizens have paid for these hudnas with their lives.

Hamas, which catapulted to power in this week's Palestinian elections, will soon make public a "peace initiative" in which it will offer to trade strategic land with Israel, cease attempts to capture parts of Jerusalem, and sign a 10-year renewable cease-fire with the Jewish state." says Hamas chief Mahmoud al-Zahar.

But the Hamas leader said the plan, which he justified using Islamic tradition, is a temporary machination to ease international and U.S. hostility toward his group in hopes of receiving financial assistance, explaining Hamas will not give up its goal of destroying Israel.

Watch them make a peace (truce) initiative... and watch the world fall all over them...

They are not going to do anything to bring down Israeli wrath on them now.

They can not mount a successful war against Israel without first attaining a prerequisite target.

They must takeover Jordan first.

Hamas may instead be seeking for the top job an independent candidate who could facilitate a rapprochement with a world where it continues to be seen as a terror group.

That is in fact what Hamas desperately wants. They should not be allowed to get away with it.

"The outside world must not fear us,"

Dear Mahmoud, no one fears you, it's called loathing.
