I agree, but first he needs to drop his soap in the prison shower while there are half a dozen perverts in there. A week or so of that treatment and he'll probably off himself.
Unless of course, if he already likes that kind of stuff, then they could hook up some electrodes to the nether region and crank up the voltage.
Stand him atop the pedestal in Firdos Square where his statue once stood. Put a couple of long ropes around his neck and hand them to the Iraqi people. Let them decide his fate...
Saddam was removed from the court room and shot in the plastic covered hallway.
This isn't a good way to run a modern nation.
"And then try his "lawyers.""
Including Ramsey Clark.
How long has Milosevic been on trial?
I didn't get your point, but if the Saddam trial goes the Milosevic way, the Iraqis will look more toward the "alternative" that they have by way of their religion, viz., the Sharia. This isn't the case with Milosevic.
Why did we take this clown prisoner? We should have shot him when he spat on the soldier who found him!
Bind and gag him and keep him in the room.
They must break this man's image of power.
Funny, just the other night we were discussing this circus and came to the same conclusion. Of course, after due consideration, we decided that whoever dropped the grenade would never have to buy another adult beverage for the rest of his life...
Would he then keel over thinking he had just eaten pork rinds? LOL! Yuh subtle humah gets me every time. :o)
Should've dropped a grenade in the spider hole.
Hmmm, not a bad idea :-)
Reminds me that it's said that Gen. Pershing during his battle in the Phillipines against Muslims way back when dipped bullets in pork fat, and buried the Islamists face down away from Mecca.
The ploy reportedly was very successful in backing off the "insurgents."
" " its exact date depends on the sighting of a new moon to start the lunar month."
This isn't a good way to run a modern nation."
If the tyrant comes out of his spider-hole and sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of insanity?
"The former Iraqi leader was then escorted out after he shouted "down with traitors" and refused his new court-appointed lawyers."
Hmmmm. Good. Keep him out of the courtroom, and just conduct the trial without him. And if Saddam accidentally steps on a bomb, while on his way to tea outside...Oh, well...

Great minds .....
Especially that one!
Lawyers can screw anything up
Saddam Hussein is the drama queen he is.
I read someplace recently that we may not get to see him hang, fry or bleed to death. His outrageous lawsuit against President Bush & PM Blair may keep him alive.
