I agree with you about this thread...it is really a good one today...that is why I have been having trouble keeping up...I want to read all of them.

BTW...I was just watching a debate on Fox about health care..and the dem person was blaming Bush for the cost of health care tripling since Clinton..blech.

But, it made me remember how mad it has made me these last few weeks...after the NSA thing was leaked by the NYTImes...and one after another dem was coming out and saying "Bush isn't KING"...he can't just listen to everyones calls...

That "Bush isn't King" was even said by Judge Napalitano on Fox....

But....they expect him to fix everything, be responsible for everything(even hurricane damage)...and make sure every American has a happy life.

So which is it?? They can't have it both ways.

They seem to forget that a modern King has no actual powers I come from a country that has a monarchy.

You have your State of Union Speech on Tuesday the nearest we have is where the Queen reads out what her government intends to do in the next Parliament at the State Opening of Parliament.

She has no input in this and no control over this. The dems are stuck even with their analogies in some far distance past.

I saw that, too.. and she thinks we need a socialist system (didn't say socialist but she said do what 36 other countries do and provide healthcare for everyone of our citizens)... uhhh if hospitals didn't lose so much money on carrying for illegal's they wouldn't have to make up the bottom line by charging more to their insured, that is one way government could help -- close our borders!
