McCain is like a Tory in a Labour district. You never know what he's going to say or support since he's more interested in staying in power, and not angering his donors, than he is standing up for principals of right versus wrong.

I like that one see that plenty of times in Britain. In fact the current leader of my party is doing a bit of that but if it helps in the long run in getting the Conservatives back in power I am willing to go with it for a while to see if it works. Once back in we can push for a more Tory agenda.
