Meanwhile, Senator Kennedy's staff searches frantically for another Anita Hill, while the Senator consoles himself with the bottle.
EXCELLENT POINT!
That is one of the best points I've seen made around here in a long time. I'd like to encourage you to send this to your Senators, Rush, Brit, etc. Well done and excellent analysis.
It is on here opposite the Saturday morning FNC business show, which doesn't interest me a whole lot so I tuned in. Within 5 minutes, maybe less, I was turning it off and running for the barf bag. It is absolutely awful.
No, but the pseudo campaign ads for it ("I'm Connie Chung and I approved this message") were kinda cute, in a Smurfs puke all over the floor kinda way.
Steven and Collins voiced their support for Alito.
I am glad you posted that....because I had forgotten what make me the most angry about Fat Timmy's roundtable...
Timmy asked Byron York if McCain is as popular with the conservative wing of the Republican party...as he is with the moderates...
and Byron York said yes...and even acted like he is REALLY popular with the conservatives.
Go figure that!
"Oh just one more thing Chairman Dean, wait a minute... I got it in my notes here somewehre... ahhh... here it is... you said sir,
'Democrats did no favors for Abramoff's Indian tribe clients and nobody got anything out of the Democrats from Jack Abramoff... that no Democrat delivered anything and there's no accusation and no investigation that any Democrat ever delivered anything to Jack Abramoff.'
I just wanted to get that clear in my own mind sir... thank you, I'm sure that will help me wrap this all up."
Well...I think that the only "global climate warming" that most Americans worry about is the kind that comes in the form of a NUKE weapon....or a chemical cloud over a city.
That is what they think now because they are crazed by being in the Minority. Then, when they do not achieve the Majority status in the next two cycles they will wring their hands and try to search what ever is left of their souls, and maybe they will start looking in the mirror and see what we see, aged, broken down, seriously flawed, liars who did not have the courage to do the right thing like Zell Miller.
Thanks, but it's Jack's point, not mine (though I agree with it too). My post was giving him kudos for the original post.
Jack Bull, see #862
You've got fans!

Don't you just want to smack him??
But he needs the base to get the nomination and Hillary needs her base to get the nomination and we're not going to vote for McCain and Hillary is having trouble with her base, too.
Thanks for the clarification, Phsstpok. That's what I get for posting on the run :-)
So, so perfect. I shall smile all day.
I 'accidentally' turned on MSNBC yesterday morning and they were on... I think it was around 9 o'clock (or earlier AZ time.... warning, bring a BARF bag if you tune in.
Well, he did vote against ANWR and I'm not going to forget it.
Our CO RINO's talk the conservative line, but when it comes time to support a candidate they insist on having candidates who will appeal to moderates in order to win.
Then, the moderate candidates lose and these so-called conservatives shrug it off and go on to the next election, smug in their realization that their social issues are satisfied by the Democrat who won. To them, it's a win-win outcome.
"Can you imagine a debate between Shee-hag and ANYone? Who wants to hear her horrible voice at all?"
Not that it would ever happen, but could you imagine a debate between Cindy and Hillary?? OMG - worse than nails on a chalkboard and lies from both to boot! Ackk, I'm cringing just thinking about it!
