Since the excitement of May 2005, Frist has been careful to not bring any judicial nominations forward that the DEMs were willing to stall with cloture. Likewise, Specter has held a number of nominations in Committee, based on threats from the DEMs. So, in the sense of failing to bring contentious nominations forward, I agree that Frist has stopped the use of the nuke option.
But any thought that Frist can "nuke at will" is based on a misunderstanding of the parliamentary procedure.
Think of it as a contested election. The law doesn't provide a way for the winner to contest the election results. If cloture passes, the vote goes on, and those who want to get to the vote have no complaint.
There will come a time, and it may be sooner than later that the Democrats will look in the mirror and ask themselves a few questions. 1. Who in the hell am I? 2. What kind of a person roots for the terrorists instead of "the good guys"? 3. When did I/Democrat start to change from being for the People and civil rights to being against all rights for the People especially civil rights? 4. What do I tell my Children/Grandchildren when they find out that I lied about so many issues just to toe the party line to stay in power? 5. How can I keep up these lies and this charade another minute? 6. When did I decide that my character did not matter anymore? 7. How could I have supported such a filthy,degenerate,liar like Bill Clinton? 8. Maybe Admiral Borda did the right thing, is that possible? 9. How can we ever get back our ethics, and if we ever had any how could we let them go for such horribly deranged so easily. 10. Will we ever win another Presidential election or the Majority back with the likes of HIllary/Bill, Dean,Kerry,Kennedy,Reid,Pelosi,et al? There are so many more in the mirror questions that we can post that these people have to be asking themselves.

They are in a lose, lose situation, and they know that Israel will dominate and put up the rest of the wall and blow them to Hell if they do not conform. when the palestinian's continue to be in Poverty when so many other Arab nations and Israel are prospering they will force leadership into changing.
