I'd pity the poor folks receiving the calls at the GOP senators' offices.

Wallace now going back to Dean's comment that no "Democrat knew about an Abramoff connect....." Apparently TWP is reporting that Harry Reid accepted $66,000 plus from Abramoff.

Developing....;-)

:-) Except when they try to "educate" us, Dems hand us another birthday present.

Corzine wants to tax 401k accounts. LOL! Can you say "Republican Governor of NJ" ?

I'm visualizing the questioning: "Mr. Bush, don't you think you're just about the worst president ever?"

LOL. That's roughly the type of commentary I'm hearing right now on "This Week." Joe Klein and E.J. Dionne against George Will, talking about how despicable and "shameful!!!!" it is to use national security as a political tool. Clinton's Georgie responds, "But isn't that EXACTLY the Republican strategy for 2006/2008?"

Oh, now they are moving on and discussing the "right-wing crackpot theory" regarding Medicare.

Anyone watching MTP? Did some woman on there just say something about the American public finding it "difficult to understand" the privacy implications of "domestic spying"?

Did she just call us idiots?

I read somewhere, also forgot where, that Hamas is dead broke, has inherited a huge debt, and doesn't have the money to even meet the payroll for January. Their "victimhood" is obviously a bid for MORE money. Let them tax those that voted for them.

Carter has suggested that U.S. money could go indirectly to Hamas via the U.N. I say 'not a nichol' for them.........so let Iran fund them and dilute its own economy...and slow down their missle program as well.

You're on the right track. Include as well, Harry Reid voted for and Indian proposal just days after receiving Abramoff donations from a tribe that was impacted by the vote. Reid is screaming but the vote should be investigated.

The dems. are products of School House Rock. They are the Conjunction Junction party. Notice that every sentence they utter begins with If, and, but, or however. This is why they can't be dealt with in good faith.

Rather than giving interviews to media clerics, Bush could do live interviews with people, like he did in Kansas. Both questions & answers were good

I agree. Giving media rats the ability to selectively edit any taped interview is like trusting them to be honest.

All these polls are bogus, except Rasmussen & the other which were the only two that were correct always, even in elections.

Push-polling, MSM style - Why NYTimes earnings, circulation plunge

A New York Times/CBS poll purports to find that support for the president's warrantless surveillance program is "mixed." But the poll is bogus. In addition to the usual MSM trick of over-sampling Democrats, including non-voters, etc., the pollsters asked misleading questions that do not reflect the actual nature of the NSA intercept program.

Ankle Biting Pundits has more

Of late, all these polls look like joke. Fox Opinion Dynamics poll is no better. It is the same democrat's firm doing polls for Newsweek. In it's latest Fox poll, Iran attack is supported by 51%. But in LATimes(!) poll 57% show support for the same. An added joke, Fox asks what type of attack they support - air-strike, ground strike etc.

Another poll about Gallop's Hillary support 51% against. When Mathews asked about it, Dana Milbank (WP) & Ann Kornblut (NYTimes) both questioning the way polls conducted saying, it is unreliable and mean nothing. 'nough said.

The other night, on Hairball...poor Chrissy had to report on the poll that came out showing that only 16% of those polled would definitely vote for Hillary...and 51% said they definitely would NOT vote for her...

Dana Milbank and another guest, and Chrissy all wrote the poll off...saying it was too early for a 2008 POTUS poll...blah, blah....

LOL

It really comes down to assumptions. I appreciate Pat Caddell who, although he is a Democrat pollster, at least is honest. During the 2004 campaigns, he tried to point out to Chad Clanton what a bad idea it was to bring up Mary Cheney and just the other night, he pointed out to Bob Beckel that too bad about the "negatives"; that when it comes to keeping Americans safe, the Dems can't touch Bush.

But what I really thought was interesting was when Pat Caddell was talking about the "let's go take action against Iran" numbers, he was perplexed that the numbers were so high even though there had not been a national discussion.

Because, even though I respect Caddell and disagree with him, he still assumes that we need to be told.

'Why do they want us to LOSE this war?'

Because a Republican would get the credit for WINNING the war.

Bush can give one speech and the polls will jump ten points. Others bump the polls too, such as Rumsfeld being interviewed. What's driving the left nuts is they can depress the polls occasionally but cannot keep them there.
