"Am I the only who thinks it funny they want to filibuster and there has barely been a Democrat on the Senate floor this week during the time allotted to discuss and debate this nomination?"
Sen. Sessions is at the head of the line.

A great man from a great state.
Mr. Sessions was **voted down** by the (then Democratically-controlled) Senate when he was appointed to be a federal judge.
The great state of Alabama showed its disapproval by voting out one of our then Democratic Party Senators and voting in Mr. Sessions; hence: Senator Sessions.
So it is no accident that Senator Sessions sits today on the committee that once voted him down.
And it is no accident that he takes a keen interest in the judicial stunts that Democrats keep attempting to pull.
It is also worth mentioning that **other** states may very well follow suit...punishing Democrats for their obstructionism by voting Democrats out and Republicans in.
