Moscow Moved Weapons to Syria and Lebanon
According to a former top Bush administration official, Russian special forces teams moved weapons of mass destruction out of Iraq to Syria.
"I am absolutely sure that Russian Spetsnatz units moved WMD out of Iraq before the war," stated John Shaw, the former deputy undersecretary for international technology security. According to Shaw, Russian units hid Saddam's arsenal inside Syria and in Lebanon's Bekka valley.
"While in Iraq I uncovered detailed information that Spetsnatz units shredded records and moved all WMD and specified advanced munitions out of Iraq to Syria and Lebanon," stated Shaw during an exclusive interview.

Ya gotta love these google-warriors coming up with their cracker jack decoder kit analysis of the situation and who fall for every "defector" willing to tell paranoics what they want to hear.
Let's look at this rationally:
Claim: Russian Spetsnaz spirited Iraqi WMD to Syria in truck convoys. Reality: If WMD was spirited to Syria, WHY would the Russians send their military to do it? Saddam had the Revolutionary Guards who were more than capable of doing this. Would Russia risk being found out and damaging their relations with the US and the millions of dollars in US aid over this?
Claim: Russian Spetsnaz involved... Reality: IF the Russians were to send any military to Iraq to accomplish this task they would have been from the Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces. But it's a moot point anyway since they didn't do it.
Claim: Russians transfered Iraqi WMD to Syria:
Reality: If the Russians did indeed spirit out any WMD they would have done it by aircraft and would NOT have taken it to Syria. They won't risk having a third party embarrass them.
Claim: Russians were able to sneak the WMD undected by the West. Reality: If you believe that, I've got a nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
Claim: The sources of the information are unimpeachable.. Hmmm. A Syrian defector wanting to make money and a disgraced Dept of Defense worker embroilled in corruption charges. I guess if we're to believe these guys we all ought to be sending Scott Ritter apology letters as well. I guess you only believe what you want to believe facts and logic be damned.
What we have here unfortunately are a lot of people with over-active imaginations fed by watching too many Hollyweird conspiracy-laced movies.
She's already answered this:
"Rice: No Evidence Iraq Moved WMD to Syria
By Associated Press - January 9, 2004
WASHINGTON -- The United States has no credible evidence that Iraq moved weapons of mass destruction into Syria early last year before the U.S.-led war that drove Saddam Hussein from power, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said Friday."
LOL! The M in WMD stands for mini.
United States has no credible evidence that Iraq moved weapons of mass destruction into Syria early last year before the U.S.-led war that drove Saddam Hussein from power, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said Friday. January 9, 2004
Both this news and strategofr's news are a bit out-of-date. But strategofr's is at least more than a year newer.
Aha!! If Rice said there is no credible evidence that Iraq moved weapons of mass destruction into Syria then what she is saying in code to Putin is that the proof that Russia smuggled weapons into Syria is in fact INcredible!!
LOL!
Diplomacy is diplomacy. I never know exactly what diplomats are trying to say. "No credible evidence" - does that mean incredible, possible, improbable, probable but not credible, possible but not probable, probable but not certain" or what?

jb6, the king of all pro putin propagandists on FR. it's time to go cash your check from the kremlin. I have included information and links about russia's treachery around the globe-- selling weapons to numerous rogue regimes-- our enemies.
"Treachery: How America's Friends and Foes are Secretly Arming Our Enemies", by Bill Gertz is also an interesting book. This well respected reporter says that 11 million arms (over 100 different types) were sold to Iraq by Russia before the war. THese weapons killed our troops.

And the KLA isn't for us. Who's right? Neither. Your paranoia however is off wack as usual.
Little girl, why don't you go ahead and pin the traitor label on Bush.
you just called bush a traitor!!!!!!!!!!!
ZOT!
It must really piss you off that Bush is letting the Russians rearm the new Iraqi government. So go ahead and let it all out, tell us what you think of Bush. Let the paranoia go.
So who's the liar? You and your paranoid bunch or our president and the adults that run the White House?
The paranoids need an all powerful enemy to be afraid off and give their meaningless lives credibility. Thank God that adults run the White House and not the Key Stone Cops.
True the alternative is quite worse.
That a group losely aligned around religion and mostly aligned around an ethnicity but hardly entirely could be anywhere in a slew of nations planning real carnage completly unresrained by any notion of sovereignty or any fear of retaliation.
Problem is that is the truth.
that is the old soviet trick to accuse someone of paranoia in order to discredit their message. this information was out there a long time ago by ion pacepa a credible source, and is being picked up again, as referenced by this article.
you are trying to pull something she said from over a year ago. it is hilarious how hard you try in these threads to sway opinion by attacking those who show easily that putin is our enemy. each reply to me and the others only serves to expose you even more, believe me there are many who read these threads and post no comments.
finally, its quite revealing as to why you have zero to say in response to these links i posted:

There was evidence .. but the source couldn't verify it at the time we went to war.
I heard General Sada on a local radio station this afternoon, and he said that when there was some natural disaster in Syria .. Iraq used it as an opportunity to move their WMD via commercial aircraft - using the disaster as a pretense - they loaded Iraqi aircraft with pretend supplies for the disaster and flew it into Syria - right under everybody's noses.
The General just wrote a book "Saddam's Secrets". Our local guy who interviewed him, Mark Larson, is a Christian, and after Mark read the book he discovered the General is an Asyrian Christian.
It was a very interesting interview.
