More precisely, leftists have been allowed to thrive for years at great expense to the decent and virtuous patriots who sustain their frivolity. They have created a culture that liberals and conservatives alike find unfulfilling and unworthy of preservation or sacrifice. The result has been a hopeless dulling of our senses, the emasculation of personal will, the vilifying of basic humanity... Oprahfication all-around.

I personally operate by the view that leftist degeneration is a conspiracy, or a conscious and willful plan... at the very least a spiteful, childish answer to the greatness liberals cannot match against their hard-headed conservative peers and forefathers. True, but I left some details out. First, you have to require that the families be intact, with a man and woman as parents (probably a hate crime violation there - or at least their MSM would call it such). And, maybe, require that at least one of the spouses have a useful college degree, or a real job.

The real difference is that the government (and the people) actually would appreciate people getting paid for this activity, rather than being looked at as leeches. It has to be treated as a credible profession. It would be entirely different.

And under "multiculturalism", that is just fine because every culture and ethnicity is equally valid and there is no reason to resist replcing one with another. What they fail to tell you is that "multiculturalism" is not a permanent virtue but only a temporary condition before diverse people in close proximity in the long run either mix into one or one group replaces the other without racial and cultural exceptionalism and strict miscegenation taboos to prevent it.

Such is the classical failure of socialism.

When governments get greedy so that both partners of a marriage have to work just to survive (politicians love it when they do because then they have twice the number of salaries to tax and use to buy more votes), there is a definite reluctance to produce more wards of the state in the form of children.

And, this does not even address the threat that liberals and socialists impose on parents that they will lose their kids if they don't raise them in the state-approved way.
