Yeah, I remember hearing from Oliver North the first time he came back about how he had actually been inside caves in Iraq that were once fully operational terrorist cells. He said he saw maps, blueprints, and detailed plans about attacks against American and Western targets. Those cells have been shut down now.

A number of writers have made reference to the evidence of terrorist training in Iraq. They even had an aircraft that was used to train hijackers - something that certainly happened in 9/11. There is also evidence that they had access to biological weapons, in particular, anthrax. The left's insistence that Saddam Hussein was not involved in terrorism is ridiculous. Apparently the idea that there was no such thin as state supported terrorism took root under the Clinton administration.
