Good point...and good thinking about using Republican "surrogates" to try to smear him.
Say what you want about his perceived "negatives"...like Bush, a lot of people are willing to overlook those, because we all know that he is great at dealing with "the bad guys"...which is what most of America is most worried about right now.

I don't recall Giuliani being real strident about his liberal social positions - - more like, "Okay. I'm running for Mayor of friggin' New York City - - so what're my positions on these idiotic issues I never gave three seconds thought about?" I mean, he'll have to stick to those positions he originally staked out for political purposes, but I doubt he'll jump up and down about any of it or have any "litmus test" for abortion, etc.
