He sent me all the information. I will have to see what I have in the way of travel finances as to whether I will be able to do that. I hope to be able to put a decent amount back to make the trip.
If nothing else...I will meet up with you all in Houston, and be able to wish NYTexan a happy birthday then.

Good for him...very efficient! :o)
However you decide to do it, we will get together and have some fun. We can celebrate his birthday 2 days in a row! LOL! I've been saving my pennies a little longer than you've had a chance to do! LOL!

Saving pennies isn't easy right now...but I will get as much as I can put back. Maybe I can get enough put away to be able to get plane tickets instead. That would be wonderful if I could get there without having to be concerned with travel time!

Well just consider the price of gas and all the food and whatnot...and maybe you can fly nearly for the same price. Does Southwest fly from near you. They always have good bargain prices. Thats how I got mine pretty cheap.

I'm going to check it out and see if I can find a flight leaving from somewhere other than Cortez (like durango or farmington NM) for cheaper. It's more than 500 per person from cortez.

About 2pm today. Chicken strips and ranch dressing. Yummy. I'm having a burrito right now...meat, cheese, lettuce, black olives and ranch.
