I also forwarded this article to my son, who is a Stryker Brigade 1st Sgt in Iraq.
Apparently there is no such thing as treason in today's culture if something is said or done by a pol or the news media. Calling for the US military to desert comes close to treason in my book.

I saw Joel Stein's photo accompanying an article on a blog yesterday. That photo made it a lot easier for me to understand why he thinks and writes like he does. He is definitely a castrati.

Thanks for the post.
I will NOT send this to my son (right now in Al Anbar)because he see enough cr@p from the MSM.
We send messages regularly pointing up that we fully support what he and his fellow Marines are doing (tho Saddam should be pushing up weeds right now) to try to bring some future hope to those poor souls in Iraq.
And yes, they are angels in armor.

But here's the problem: Joel Stein and his ilk not only believe that they're exempt from criticism and judgement, they sincerely believe that they're entitled to thunderous and unending applause for their anti-Americanism and nihilism.
When such as these acquire the levers of governmental power, mass murder and impoverishment follow. History is my witness.
That's why J Stein and all those who applaud him should have their homes burned to the ground and then be driven naked into the wilderness.

That's a little extreme - for our current situation.
But I'm not adverse to having Madame Lafarge knit his name, in case the s*** really hits the fan domestically. I pray it does not.
