Structural failure warrants close scrutiny, certainly.
The T-34 has been around for many decades. I instructed in that machine in 1960!
Even though the a/c go through vigorous calendar checks, the sustained stress placed on the airframe and supporting systems -- over time -- warrants close examination, IMHO.
