LOL. Got to wonder who planted the idea in JFKerry's mind. Maybe more than one wanted him off the slopes.

The Republicans would get creamed in 06 if their opposition was anybody but the Democrats.

Kerry phoned in his filibuster pitch while hobnobbing with the rich and famous at an international talkfest in Davos Do you think he told them he was in Viet Nam?

Europeans wish and wish Kerry had won the election. Kerry worships all things European. So put him among European mandarins who talk to him as their wannabee president and he gets a swelled head. He loathes being stuck on the wrong side of the Atlantic among such provincial yokels. If only he could bring them some genuine European enlightenment....
So while in Europe and just back from it Kerry thinks that he is the president. It will take him a month to settle down.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) a potential 2008 Kerry rival yesterday said she'd support the filibuster "because I do not think Judge Alito would advance the principles Americans hold most dear."
Frankly, my dear....

The Senate rules require a Senator to refund his pay for each day missed...Why does Kerry get away with this?

Kerry is just the sort of American that General Washington would have loathed.

Hey Hillary - how about reading the Barrett report out loud as part of your filibuster? Or how about reading aloud the rape charges by Juanita Broaddrick? Or how you made $100K out of a few thousand dollars?
Or even better, why not perform an abortion live on the Senate floor? After all, this is what this filibuster is all about, you fat pig.

I'll second that. Those that fear Hillary (I don't understand why) need to be reminded that for her or Kerry to win in'08 our candidate would have to be considerably worse. The question is, is that possible?

Did you see that good PBS series last week about the French and Indian War ? "The War that Made America" ? Washington felt ignored on the Virginia frontier. He went to the new British commander in North America, General Loudon, to ask for a commission as a British regular officer, not just a colonial commision. Loudon looked down his nose at this colonial upstart and sneeringly refused. Washington never asked for a British commission again.
One can imagine Kerry licking Loudon's feet for months, begging for a British commission.

Jean LeKerrie has just proven a very important point. Liberal Democrats are elitist snobs who want to impose themselves as the "ruling Class" in a french-fried Ameurope. The only trouble is, Monsieur LeKerrie, the Islamofacists want so badly to kill you, too. Wake up, Monsieur.

Very true, there may not have been an American Revolution were JFKerry around Boston all those years ago. Although he likes the French enough he might well have fought their kind of revolution.
I'm glad to see McClellan's using humor.
Won't you come home John Kerry?
Kerry avoids Senate duties
(Afraid he'll catch Democrat cooties?)

But instead he's selected
