I think what he saw in the Palestinan elections sobered Biden a little.... even Jimmy Carter was thrown by the outcome.
Yeah...maybe Biden finally realized what Bush has known all along...it is a dangerous world out there..(of course he won't admit it)...and that just schmoozing and being diplomatic does NOT get rid of terror.
