Man, that sounds awful! I had fluid taken off my knee with a needle once. Almost bit my tongue OFF. I asked the doc what size needle he was using. "Sixteen gage." I said "Just get a 12 gage and shoot me!"

I'd twist a knot in his tail so tight he'd think he had a tummy tuck.

That reminds me of a dirty joke.

They use big ones for aspirating,

You can practically use a 12 guage as a straw.

I've admired Leo's work since the Ice Water days.

A couple of years ago I was in Laramie, Wyoming and saw a poster; Leo would be playing in Cheyenne that night. I drove to Cheyenne and bought a ticket. Get this: They had several seats available, but one in near-center front row was available. SOLD!!!

When he played "Living in the Country" I could not believe my eyes and ears. I looked at the guy next to me (who was a guitar player) and both of us just looked at each other with this dumbfounded expression while the audience applauded. We just witnessed an impossible act!

I wish I could see him play; by that I mean the angle was wrong. All I could see of his right hand was the back of his hand. I could not see the fingers a-working.

I guess you have met a lot of musicians. I get to meet all the great basketball players. It's funny how life works.
