NEW YORK Universal Press Syndicate columnist Ann Coulter "joked" during a Thursday speech that liberal Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens should be poisoned. "We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee," Coulter said at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Ark. "That's just a joke, for you in the media."
She made other "off-color" jokes about liberal Supreme Court justices that made the audience "squeal," according to an article today in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. No pies were thrown.
Coulter did provoke some booing, though, especially after she stopped two black men during questions, telling them, "I'm not gonna be lectured to," according to the newspaper account. She also was booed when she said that the crack cocaine epidemic "has pretty much gone away."
Blacks "are the most loyal group for Democrats and you ought to be getting a little more out of them by giving them competition through the Republicans," Coulter said.
She hailed the nomination of Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court, suggesting that now there might be a fair vote on abortion.
Afterward, black students stood around "lashing" back at Coulter's "rhetoric," the newspaper said. One sophomore girl said: "We need someone on the Democratic side who is just as outspoken as she is."
The college president, Walter Kimbrough, had told the audience, that inviting Coulter to speak at the black school made sense because like hip hoppers she is "raw, outspoken, uncensored." He also called her the "conservative answer to rapper Lil' Kim -- [both] attractive and sexy, long-haired blondes. ..."
Coulter said it was "the best introduction" she'd ever had.
Lil' Kim is currently in the middle of a 366-day jail sentence for perjury and conspiracy.
1. Never make a public comment that advocates killing someone, unless it's Bin Laden or some dangerous lunatic.
2. Never assume the press will include your disclaimer, or even quote you correctly. Say nothing that has to be explained or mitigated, because the enemy within is waiting to use your own weapon against you.
1.I will submit to you that any Leftist on the US Supreme Court is, in fact, a dangerous lunatic. Heck, having any Liberal/Leftist in any position to decide policy for the American people is a dangerous thing.
2. It is refeshing to see that Coulter has, once again, spoken what too many timid, spineless and weak Conservatives quietly think. As for 'witholding' any comments that the MSM may twist to suit their agenda......when did the MSM ever stop and think twice or give a d*mn? No matter what a Conservative says, it'll be twisted or colored. That's a fact of life.
Some may go through life watching every word, over-analyzing every statement, carefully choosing proper syntax so as to not be slammed by the twisted Left.
Not I.
Thankfully, not Coulter.

It is a joke of light comment, not a suggestion of any kind. Lighten up.
Parallels with Malveaux, Baldwin, and Lee have already been made. But does anyone recall the tasteless "humor" skits done by Rancid Rhodes, er, I mean Randi Rhodes on Air America? My memory is she did at least two, in both of which the President was assassinated. I regret Ann went over the top this time, but her behaivor pales in comparison to the words and acts of the Left, and they never received the condemnation she is sure to receive (<<<BIG SURPRISE!!).
Right. Whatever.
HAHAHA HEE HEE HEE dead justices, I GET IT...BWAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
*wipes tear* WHOOO what will that wacky Ann think of next...HAHAHAHAH rat poison. CLASSIC!
Wait till I tell that one to the wife...POISONED SUPREME COURT JUSTICE...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Let me try one out:
Hey Ann, I hope you get cervical cancer and DIE! Seriously media it's just a joke. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH OH MAN, my stomach hurts. SO FUNNY!!!
JUST..CAN'T...TAKE...IT...ANYMORE!
PS: Do I really need the sarcasm tag?
Exactly! Thank you!
TRANSLATION: "We Democrats desperately need to hear someone who can articulate Democrat values and make them sound logical and right and convincing, just like Ann and scores of others do for the Republican side. Why oh why can't they ever find anyone like that to speak to us? There surely must be plenty of smart Democrats like that out there. But they never come to our college and we never see them on TV. Where are they hiding these people and why? Has Bush locked them all up or something? We flip through all the channels looking in vain for these articulate convincing Democrats, but all we see are Sharpton and Hillary and Teddy and Chuckie and Harry and Jesse and Pelosi and Boxer and Michael Moore and Nagin and ......"
Hey, welcome to FR. Love your screenname and tagline. LOL!
Interesting profile page. Only thing that made me flinch was the Rick "slash and burn 'em at Waco" Ross link. Much as I have no use for Tommy Cruise and his $cientologists, I'll risk an occasional rattlesnake in the mailbox over the government's tanks, CS and kerosene treatment for religious fruitcakes.
Otherwise, welcome again!
Yes.
That was wrong too.
No - you need brain transplant.
Or to post at DU.
Well, I happen to be one who has never thought about poisoning a political enemy. When William Baldwin (or was it Alec) ranted about stoning Henry Hyde, Republicans were outraged. How is this different?
And it's starting to take effect.
Yep. Right up there with Janeane Garofalo.
So she didn't have to run for her life again.
WHAT does this skinny a-hole know about eating food? You just don't MAKE public comments like that.
Other examples would be like the NYC council (which is about 95% democrat) using taxpayer cash to redecorate their offices, go on carribean vacations, buy cars, and basically use taxpayer cash like an unlimited Gold card. You think I`m going to pay my taxes to this city honestly when I read stuff like that? I don`t think so. This Lopez giving that psycho Cruise $630k could have bought a lot of books and pencils for education. That drove me absolutely nuts when I heard about that, and consider I only heard about it because it was publicized...How many other things are going on that we haven`t heard about?
