What was the % when we went into Iraq?
I guess my point is that polls don't mean much.

Iran is much stronger case than Iraq was. They are openly and prolifically funding terrorism.

Even on Iraq, although a small majority polls as saying it "wasn't" worth going to war, the majority is responsible enough NOT to want a pullout that endangers what we have gained. In effect, Americans have supported the current policy throughout, because they overwhelmingly supported the decision for war at the time.

You know what would really be entertaining concerning this problem of Iran? Asking Senator Kerry what he thinks about it. I'm betting that would be a riot.

Step 1) translate the bill of rights into local languages and have UAVs drop them over villages, hamlets and cities though out the country.
Step 2) drop detailed instructions on how to build a small metal shop capable of machining low cost pistols and machine guns.
Step 3) Drop small packages of ammunition
Step 4) Drop an instruction manual on how to conduct ambushes
Step 5) Have CIA start identifying resistance cells and supplying intelligence on the movements of the Mullahs and Sr. Government officials
Step 6) Drop in Special Forces A teams to organize resistance cells and train them in combat, espionage, sabotage and democracy.
Step 7) As resistance cells organize and gain control of areas, provide logistical support
Step 8) Dispatch a few dozen UAVs with 500 lb laser guided bombs to take out any remaining Mullahs

Let some of the Euro countries take the lead. I don't think we should have to bear the majority of the burden... Make them send a good of their troops as well as $ in this cause.
I was all for the overthrowing Hussein in Iraq...

What amazes me is that over at DU they are saying how meaningless and tltled these polls because of this one. Yet, further in their threads is one in which it shows Bush's aprroval ratings are the lowest ever ... this one they take as gospel proof that polls represent the real truth.

Iran will pass a nuke to Terrorists and then deny they did it, just like OBL tried to deny he had anything to do with 9/11.
