Not sure, what, if anything, will happen today..Will there be a filabuster?..will anyone show up..might be work while checking out the beginning of the session, to get the lay of the land....

You are the one that needs to explain.........Explain what? I am throwing out a scenario that possibly, not probably could happen. Does anyone consider some Senators voting present instead of aye/nay an impossibility?
Present votes have happened.

Two more Democrats are expected to back Alito, killing chance of filibuster - CONRAD AND DORGAN OF NORTH DAKOTA!Mixed feelings - those were two of the Senate seats I figured we'd be able to pick up this fall. We still can, but we won't have their obstruction to hang around their necks.

why is he whining about voting machines?
To: txrangerette
Why on earth would they do THAT?? To save face. The DUmp is pushing the idea to Senators who have said they don't support a filibuster. I'm sure they have spread it to other sites.

Yes, he's really PISSED OFF.
Those stupid freakin DUmmies took his call for filibuster seriously and so he had to miss all the good weekend skiing to come back and pretend to filibuster.
Bummer of a weekend.

Cuz he lost and he's a sore loser. He's never gotten over it. Like Al Gore.

To: newnhdad
why is he whining about voting machines? Because he's John Kerry and no one ever understands what the heck is talking about.
Doesn't it seem like there should be a guy walking back and forth behind with a plant that keeps getting bigger?
