The Muslims are quite insecure in their belief. We should make a point of that every chance we get. Islam has a weakness for paranoia.

That would solve just about allah the terrorist problems world wide!! Fence em in their little sand pit and dont let em come out to play till they are civilized, which will be never!
And no more Kweeranuses anywhere except public toilets, or used for hog feed!
I personally find their "religious" gawd awful story book that instructs them to murder me and you extremely OFFENSIVE!

This is old news. The requirements outlined in the article are necessary for anyone visiting Saudi Arabia. I don't think they apply while on the airplane itself.
Since the flight attendants need to get off the plane and go through immigration and might even have a layover at a hotel, they have to follow Saudi law, as stupid and backward as it may be. The Saudi religious police are ruthless and known to follow foreigners. If you are BMI, would you rather have your flight crews arrested or give them notice up front of what they cannot bring to Saudi Arabia so that they comply with Saudi law?

I noticed that the quoran was not banned in an attempt not to offend Christians. Who says terrorism doesn't work? I see it achieving its agenda.

TWA was the only US carrier allowed to fly to the Kingdom because we helped them establish their own airline(trained their pilots and sometimes crewed their planes). After our aircrews protested these sorts of requirements we stopped having overnight layovers in Saudi. Instead it was a "turn" out of Cairo and we never left the aircraft. Male crew(mostly)stayed on board out of respect for our female crew-members. We still had to have our liquor carts and all bottles and caps and such locked up with special seals while in Saudi airspace. There was also an announcement made when the flight crossed the border so that female passengers knew when they could get out of their stupid get-ups or, alternatively, get into them.
