Not true, unless he has reformed. Several years ago, I emailed his office requesting that he send my father a birthday card for his 80th birthday (my father still lived in WV at the time and was involved in WV politics, actually acquainted with the old buzzard). His office replied that since I was not a constituent (I live in SC), he would be unable to fulfill my request.

He must be one of the only Senators up there that actually accept correspondence from non-constituents. Senator Frist does too. And unlike my own Senator Voinovich, Frist actually responds to correspondence.
