Good Choice but Adrienne Barbeau has always tickled my fancy.
Have others but this Hitlery possibility thingy thing has me numb.

I don't think hitlery will even win the dim primary. She may not even run if her poll numbers don't improve. HAHA.

The other unknown...why hasn't anyone considered that Karl Rove might run in 08? I know he'd get my vote! He's a strong conservative with wicked insight into both domestic and foreign policy. He's earned his chops and for some reason, no one's mentioned him for the spot.

So, I will. Karl Rove for 2008!

I'm tired of arguing. Start a Best actresses over forty thread. ...and you can put down Diane Lane as my choice.

Is this the Diane Lane you mean?

I thought so. Sorry for the off-topic post, but it is not healthy to think about Hillary for too long.

"There's no "there" there. I don't think Mcvain is even involved unless he can win the presidency for himself. Not sure he will even run.

Michael Medved had McCainiac on yesterday and was falling all over himself encouraging the Vain One to run. It was sickening! When Medved gets off-course, he REALLY gets off-course. He sure was yesterday.

Don't forget that Diane Lane is Barbra Streisand's daughter in law.

Right, and the libnuts also want mcVain to run. They are the ones touting him but not that THEY would vote for him...they know that all us conserves won't vote for him. I don't know Medved well enough, haven't listened to his show, but why is he for McVain?

I can understand why some libnuts would want McVain to run...as an antogonist to Bush.
The libnuts cannot get off the fact that Bush isn't running in 08. They will eventually figure it out. LOL.

This is going to be a bumpy 3 years, for sure! LOL.

Her health care plan had a large role in the Republicans winning the House in 1994 in those elections.

And ten years later that same Republican House helped pass the largest healthcare initiative this nation of states has ever seen. Some conservatism there Rush...

But keep voting Republican. If you don't you may get big government, more welfare programs, and no defense of the borders. Oh wait, we've had that in the past five years haven't we?

The epitome of a belle dame.

Just lovely. I didn't see the film.

I liked her in Perfect Storm:

Now, Bobby, you have two choices. You can (1) drown or (2) go home to Diane Lane. Would you like to hear those choices again? Do you need more time to make up your mind?

You can really tell if somebody's faking it today and now. People are exponentially more well informed than a decade ago. Newspapers of Record are closing printing plants for a reason. Network news is sinking because of frauds quickly exposed. The people used to consuming the old crap are shrinking in population. Facts are exposed as truth or lies immediately. A few years ago it was said that women would bring Mrs. Bill Clinton over the top if she ran for president. The west wing flopped. Commander in chief is going to flop soon.

People can't be pimped like they used to be by the TV or movies anymore. People are onto their media surroundings. Everyone knows the level of bullshit they are handed today.

About ten years ago, I saw Fred Thompson becoming the next Reagan, at this point, I think he is too old.

Would he have to resign his post as NY District Attorney to run??

(standing by for comments...)

"Here she was this Chicago woman that went to school at Yale and met this horn dog from Arkansas."

LOL!!! Perhaps, Rush should start writing some romance novels. Good opening line.

Maybe not off-topic. I know a Brasillian head nurse that looks similar to her that is moving here for good in March as a head nurse in a pediatric hospital. Starting pay is $73K when she finally sells off her stuff down there and walks through the door in CA ready to work. Passed the NCLEX exam in English at the top last November. Visa, no problem. Green card, no problem. Very feminine and work oriented with a few languages under her bra. 14 yrs experience. Smart and not imposing. Different career field than mine and lots to talk about and do together for twice a year the last few. And not Americanized (yet).

SO, I ask what did Mrs. Bill Clinton do that compares to a woman like that?

Of course this was the same Rush who six years ago said that the former first lady would never go through with a campaign to be Senator from NY. Let's see. Who's the junior senator from New York? Oh yeah, the one he said would never run or could never be elected.

Bingo. Rush is NOT always right. She is dangerous because of not only the media, but because of who will be with her EVERYWHERE campaigning. You know, the serial molester she stayed married to, even though they don't live in the same house? And he's adored. It's going to be an attempt to an end run around the Constitution.
