If you are castrated and have to wear a burkha you might change your tune. But you are entitled to your opinions, which are almost as valid as mine. Cheers.
And no woman ever cried on another's shoulder and said:
We lost the fetus.
"It's been a long time coming, but the Democrats are finally throwing the NARAL ladies off the boat."
"Are they, really, or is this just more posturing in an election year?"
The DNC and all their special interest groups can no longer hide behind the skirts of the MSM. America has woken up and finally see that these whackos on the left are not the mainstream, but fringe groups that when combined make up about 20% of the population.
As the 60's loonies die off, we will see a resurgence of conservatism like the world has never seen.
Actually, if America had allowed those 40 million children to be born and grow up into productive citizens, perhaps we would not have needed to rely instead on the illegal immigration labor force.
Cheers to you as well.
Thank you, as usual. She's definitely on the upswing again. Excellent.
Sometimes nicknames stick and can be very descriptive, such as Robert Bird's nickmane, Sheetz. Annie, to me, should be Stilts. I like her sharp tongue, but her knees and elbows are equally sharp.
Give that girl a steak.
Quite true. However, I think the winds are changing on this issue.
It is ironic that blacks flock to a political party which was founded on the idea of keeping blacks in slavery.
Perhaps- or would that mean 40,000,000 more welfare-sucking Democrat voters? I imagine Conservative women have abortions at a far lower rate than Liberals.
At least the Illegals can't vote- yet.
Read the words of one of the unborn's most vocal supporters:
Please FReepmail me if you would like to be added to, or removed from, the Pro-Life/Pro-Baby ping list...
If I'm not mistaken, even Ginsberg at one point said the USSC had no place in taking it on. It was certainly not a civil rights issue (a constitutionally guaranteed right cannot be given to one group over another, as in to females over males, think women's suffrage and its impetus). So it certainly was not a USSC case to settle but a state issue.
Where are those little plastic babies available? I'd like to give them out at our next pro-life event.
And, which party do you think those illegal aliens would vote for if they could? Seriously though, you have a good point about alternative history scenarios - most of the time, you can only say for sure that things would be different - which is why I could not understand why Trent Lott had to resign his leadership position for stating that truth. We may have had all sorts of other problems, but there's no double America would not have all the problems we have now had Thurmond been elected President rather than Truman.
I agree. I think public opinion has been swinging around our way for several years. I'll believe the Dims get it, however, when I see their leadership agree to restrictions on partial birth abortion, the most basic, most obvious reform needed.
All I've heard after the 2004 election is "but-monkey" drivel. I'm against abortion, but I really do have "values." I'm against abortion, but despite my appearance of being a statist regulator in my bones, I'm really a libertarian in drag and oppose government intrusion into family matters. Yada, yada, yada.
We'll see. I do think there are some savvy Dim advisers who have figured out they are actually losing elections on this issue.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
The Founding Fathers had surely heard of another evil in practice before abortion. Women would carry the baby to term and then it would be handed over to another woman (forget what she was called) and it would be held and rocked and *not* fed until it died. Now THAT is evil!
