I always thought that if I could, figuratively speaking, put God in a test tube with some litmus paper and watch Him turn blue, why would I worship such a God?
Any thing that you can understand, you are superior to. I can't even understand myself, sometimes, though I try hard. I can't understand other people. Why do some people take pleasure in malicious backstabbing for example, or hurting other people for sexual pleasure? Or,about on a par as far as I'm concerned, voting Democratic? OK, that last was a cynical joke.
But you get the idea. If I can't, and scientists can't, understand these things, why are we entitled to understand God?
